TRUNK(KITCHEN) can get get busy though, as it is a favourite amongst the locals so booking ahead is wise, especially for a table on the charming outdoor terrace, perfect for morning people-watching.

Breakfast here is a delight, offering classics like scrambled eggs, salmon Benedict, and vanilla-speckled French toast, alongside health-conscious options such as kale and quinoa salads and granola yogurt bowls, and guests can enjoy breakfast at the poolside lounge, next to the inviting infinity pool and hot tub. As the sun sets, this spot transforms into TRUNK(POOL CLUB) –
a sultry seafood venue  and cocktail bar, featuring Japanese and imported oysters, chilled crab and lobster, and a shortlist of cocktails. Nonalcoholic options area also available, and equally impressive, featuring vibrant mixes of kombucha, tonic, and ginger ale – perfect for those who prefer minimal alcohol intake.

Boasting seating for up to sixty-seven guests, the stunning Pizzeria e Trattoria L’Ombelico on the breezy ground floor here, however, is a family-friendly, pet-friendly, and local hotspot which is hard to go by. Opening onto the relaxing greenery of Yoyogi Park, it caters to the neighbourhood with designer cappuccinos and hand-tossed pizzas, and is a real delight. Under the culinary direction of owner-chef Isamu Inoue from Tokyo’s popular trattoria L’Arte in Sangenjaya, the menu leans towards a pan-Italian vibe, featuring seafood platters, salumi, and Neapolitan pizzas baked in a striking copper-clad oven. All-day dining, casual, rooted in the community — and just YUM.

‘WA’ Japanese means “Japanese” or “domestic,” as opposed to Western-style or foreign-style, and the restaurant’s chefs regularly visit various parts of Japan to bring you food that is part of the lifestyle of each region. Focusing on Japanese ingredients and handmade tofu, plus a bakery that sells freshly made bread – this is a place to enjoy ‘no frills’ traditional plates, many cooked with seasonal organic ingredients. 

Think a filling rice ball and warm miso soup set. The sets also usually come with a salad, which you can serve yourself from the reasonably stocked salad bar, and what is available is fresh, simple and good quality, in keeping with Muji’s brand values.

An open, airy layout and large windows create a bright and welcoming atmosphere, an the use of simple, functional furnishings and the absence of unnecessary decoration reflect the brand's ethos. The ambiance is calm and unpretentious, ideal for enjoying a relaxed meal in a serene environment.

P.S – The restaurant also serves a nutritious breakfast from 7:30 to 11:00. 

At MUJI Diner, the hotel’s second restaurant – simplicity and purity take centre stage, with dishes that emphasise the natural, original flavours of preservative-free ingredients sourced at their seasonal peak. 

Inspired by global culinary traditions, the menu is wholesome and delicious, featuring minimal additives to highlight the true essence of the food. 

The Coffee & Salon available here also offers a serene escape with a camphor wood bar counter and comfortable seating, where guests can relax with aromatic roasted coffees and fresh herb and fruit cocktails. Adjacent to this, the Library provides a curated collection of design-themed books, creating a perfect spot to enjoy a thoughtful read along with your favourite beverage.
